Evermore by Alyson Noel
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book is about a sixteen year old girl, Ever, that lost her parents and younger sister in a terrible car accident. She was the only one to survive the accident and blams herslef for the others deaths. After the accident she goes to live with her aunt. Ther she discovers that she has a gift, she can see peoples auras, hear there thoughts, and there entire life story with a single touch. However, Ever does not see this as a gift, she sees it as a burden that as turned her into a freak. Ever has to avoid contact with everyone because she does not like knowing everthing about someone. But things start to change when she meets Damen Auguste. The first thing that she notices about him is that he has no aura and she can not read his thoughts. But the thing that she finds the most interesting is that his touch silences every thing. No more random thoughts invading her head. Ever finds her self drawn to him, and she has no idea why. She also discovers that he is hiding something and she is toren. Should she trust him, or is he hiding something dangerous.
I loved this book. It was interesting and I was hooked right from the beginning. Alyson's ideas are wonderful and very original. I have never read a book like this book before. I recommend this book to anyone that likes a book filled with the supernatureal, mystery and romance.
